Van Gogh
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a painter from the Netherlands, located in art history as the main exponent of post-impressionism.

Tormented and unsuccessful in life artist par excellence, had a random existence flirting with madness, so much so that it is possible that he committed suicide although his death today remains unclear.

In his exiles in the countryside he devoted himself to painting; the legend tells that he only managed to sell paintings to his brother, art dealer, in life, and that those he bought were all ruined under a bed.

But the imprint he left in this world was another, since his painting has been called to hold a leading place in the history of art, and all the sadness in his life was contrasted with the joy and positivism that his paintings convey, highly valued today and equally influential from the moment they were appreciated.
