Agatha Christie

Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller, better known as Agatha Christie (1890-1976), was a British writer specializing in detective and mystery novels.

She excelled in this genre, creating some of the best known (and most translated and sold, therefore) works worldwide in this field, such as And then there were none or Murder on the Orient Express, with his mythical character, the detective Hercule Poirot.

All of this earned her the highest recognition in her life as a writer, deserved of course. Her novels continue to arouse fascination to today's readers and new adaptations of them continue to appear to different other media such as cinema.
