Blasphemous

Blasphemous
In short, the game is an absolute "blasphemy", as its name indicates, since it uses all the condiments of this aforementioned baroque imagery, mainly from Seville, to make a very gore and most striking script. Without going into many details, and although we don't know the final intention of the choice of this aesthetic, we do not believe that it is an attempt of blasphemy in itself, rather almost the opposite, by making fun of blasphemy itself. But we repeat, we do not know the ultimate goals of the choice of this imagery.
In essence it is as if we take all these elements, we put them in a turmix, and we obtain a deconstructed or negative, opposite, Holy Week, where eternal penance is mixed with hoods and crowns of thorns; that is to say, a total trippy journey.
Perhaps the game mechanism, that is, a classic "hack & slash" with interspersed cinematics and good background music, is the least of it, because the most important thing is the script and the plot, so much so that if the developers managed to make a movie of this, it would be doubly cool.
On the other hand, the efforts that have come together to carry out this game from the capital of Seville are more than welcome and grateful, what we need: both producing muscle in these latitudes, and the choice of the subject, also very attached to the terrain. So otherwise a great game. Don't let the candles in the chandeliers go out.
