Manitas de plata

French guitarist (1921-2014) who cultivated the flamenco genre. His real name was Ricardo Galiardo, he was related to the quintessential French flamenco band, the Gipsy Kings.

Perhaps because he was not attached to the cradle of flamenco, Andalusia, his methods were not totally orthodox, but his great skill and virtuosity to the touch must be recognized.

He had a guitar painted by Picasso.
