Masters of the Universe
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is a global franchise based on a Mattel toy line of the same name.
The saga features a wide array of memorable characters who, although originating from the aforementioned toy line, have transcended the age range for which the saga was originally targeted and are enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds. Among these characters, besides the protagonist He-Man and his famous sword, we also have She-Ra (the female version of the male protagonist), and of course, the villainous Skeletor.
The franchise includes several installments, among them the original 1983 animated series, another animated series from 2002, and a live-action film from 2026.
