All Marlborough galleries around the world close

According to information collected by various general Western media, the emblematic Marlborough gallery, with branches in London, New York, Madrid and Barcelona, will permanently close its doors to the public after 78 years of existence.
The causes are not exactly known, but the little information there is in this regard points to differences and disputes between the current managers (who are not the founders), which may have led to the flight from the gallery by some star artists those the firm represented; Furthermore, so-called "modern" art is going through a bad time since new winds are blowing in the art world, and perhaps this series of causes, all together, have led to the closure of the entire gallery, as we have mentioned.
And the so-called "modern" art, as has been said here several times, is at a dead end and other proposals are emerging, not so attached to the rigid structure of art galleries but more free and perhaps also influenced by the appearance of the internet and, more recently, the so-called "artificial intelligence".
What was the official gallery, for example, of the artist Jackson Pollock, master of abstract expressionism, and other artists (in addition to having held retrospective exhibitions of many renowned artists such as Picasso), has had no choice but to close, indicating that it is going to sell in an orderly manner all its assets, mainly a vast important gallery collection, and also the headquarters, which it owns until now.
