Is everything today a performance?

In today's article we come to analyze a phenomenon that is happening right now and that is that every act or demand can become a kind of performance to raise awareness about something or whatever.
So, effectively, today, everything is a performance. From winning Eurovision, or losing Eurovision (it doesn't matter); from wishing someone the best (or the worst) in a television intervention; from staining with fried tomato a glass that protects certain famous paintings; from writing an article in a newspaper; from losing your job (as long as this act has a certain media impact), etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. If the "act" has an impact on social networks and others, objective achieved.
Let us now remember one of perhaps the most intense performances ever perpetrated, which was initiated, of course, by a film director. It's Orson Welles with his radio narration about the earth being invaded by aliens. Many people, in their offices, in the car, believed the performance, and the United States partially panicked. Any self-respecting performance must be compared with this one, which in this publication we consider as the archetype of performance, the maximum that can be achieved in this field. Hahaha.
Although this fact is a little "forgotten" today, it remains there in history, which is already an achievement, in the history of radio and cinema. Anyway.
But we must warn the performer of performances, or happenings or whatever you want to call them: the performance must have a certain substance because otherwise it will be very ephemeral, that is, it will have a great punctual impact but then it will lose its strength and it will be forgotten.
And to finish this article, the writer wonders, isn't the very fact of writing it a false and fallacious performance as well?
