Brigitte Bardot, icon of French and world cinema, dies

Yesterday, December 28, 2025, headlines around the world highlighted the news: Brigitte Bardot, muse of 20th-century French cinema, passed away at the age of 91 at her home in Saint-Tropez.
From a young age, she understood the world of filmmaking like no other. Not just beautiful, but stunningly beautiful, with a wild charm, a touch naive yet playful and daring, Brigitte made a name for herself in the world of film and celebrity gossip instantly after the release of her first hit movie, "And God Created Woman" (1956).
