The well-known American actress Sydney Sweeney has recently jumped on the bandwagon of selling women's underwear through her own brand, SYRN, following in the footsteps of fellow American celebrity Kim Kardashian with her own label.
The idea is to sell a variety of underwear items to women, including bras, thongs, panties, shapewear, corsets, and bustiers, in various styles and colors, always under the brand of the celebrity in question.
In other words, in the US, it's no longer just the number of Instagram followers you have that matters (which is substantial in both cases, especially for Kim), but also the number of shapewear items you can sell each month to the majority of women under your brand.
So much so that, recently, in a publicity stunt, the aforementioned actress Sydney Sweeney covered the famous "Hollywood" sign in California with linked bras.
In short, this is a business that needs to be followed very closely: the sale of shapewear by female celebrities.
