Japanese arcade video game created by Toru Iwatani for the Namco company and released in 1980 first for the Japanese market and later for other parts of the world.

The video game was successful from the beginning, and today its protagonist and its characters have become icons that are already part of the history of video games. It is still exploited commercially today.
