Ralph Bakshi
Ralph Bakshi is an American film director, mainly for the animation medium.
In the 70s of the last century he distinguished himself from the mainstream started by Walt Disney to become an underground icon and support adult animation cinema (with his film Fritz the cat), almost becoming de facto an anti Disney.
Later, other collaborations such as the one he made with Frank Frazetta for the film Fire and Ice and memorable adaptations such as the first film version of The Lord of the Rings, in the animated medium, confirm his status as a genius of celluloid.
