Rubén Darío

Félix Rubén García Sarmiento, better known as Rubén Darío (1867-1916) was a Nicaraguan poet and writer, the highest representative of the movement known as literary modernism in the Spanish language. But his poetry transcends this movement and is considered one of the best poets in that language, and therefore has been called "prince of Castilian letters".
