The Sandman

The Sandman is a fictional character created by Neil Gaiman whose first appearance took place in the comic with the same name back in 1989, in a sort of series published by DC where the scriptwriter Neil used various guest artists who drew parts of it.

It is the character that gives rise to a kind of dark fantasy universe very much to the taste of this publication, since Sandman (the god of dreams) is part of a series of other characters known as the Eternals.

In this case, The Sandman has been locked away for a long time and upon awakening from his slumber he finds that he must put the world in order since his absence has caused certain alterations in it.

It is considered a great work by comic book fans, which of course has expanded to other domains such as television, since in 2022 the Netflix platform released an interesting series based on this character.
