Armando Manzanero

Armando Manzanero Canché (1935-2020) was a Mexican musician and author of some of the best known Mexican boleros that were composed mainly during the 20th century, such as the songs "Somos novios", "Contigo aprendí", or "Esta tarde vi llover", among many others.

His love songs have been interpreted, among others, by, for example, Elvis Presley or Frank Sinatra.

He was the backbone and shaper of the genre known as the Mexican bolero and one of the great composers of Spanish music.
