Today we are going to highlight a proven fact that indicates that if someone in this world wants to become a respected film director, he/she must have a plan, a career plan, a life guide that helps and accompanies him throughout his career.

And of course, in reality we would all like to be successful directors. But my friend, this task is reserved only for a few. But getting down to business, what a new director cannot expect is that Warner is going to give him 20 million dollars to shoot a film and carte blanche for the script.

Therefore, since this fact is not going to happen, you have to "have a plan." That is, a way to make the process of becoming a famous film director viable. To give another example, if what the director wants is to shoot a science fiction blockbuster that will cost more than 100 million dollars, then the best thing he/she can do is to dedicate himself/herself to growing vegetables because most likely that possibility, that of shooting a movie with a big budget, is not going to happen just like that.

To give examples of well-run processes, we can mention, although in this case we are talking about a company and not a film director, the American online sales company Amazon. We all remember the hard times of those years, the 2000s, on the Internet; people were suspicious of this type of sale and in general were not familiar with it. Well, Amazon executives thought that a good starting point could be the sale of books: they were non-perishable products and easy and fast shipping; in addition, it was something "elevated in spirit" since a book is always worthy of admiration. In short, it was the perfect product to be able to scale its service to what that company has become today.

Another example related to the topic we are discussing, that of becoming a respected film director, is the career of Peter Jackson, yes, the New Zealand director of The Lord of the Rings films. Well, that's where he started by forcing his friends to appear as actors - and at the same time immortalizing them - in his first film Bad Taste. After having gained some attention, he continued on his upward path until he became what this director has become today, a public figure acclaimed and loved by film buffs of this world.

In short, not all of us are going to be born, as is obvious to say, children of film directors, with the ability to get behind the cameras, nor children of millionaires to enter the world of film production through the ease that economic freedom provides. That said, if you want to be a film director, you have to have a plan.
