The tourism and agricultural activities of Pedro Alonso Pablos family have inspired his next film, The meaning of life

Mixing tourism with cinema has been done since time immemorial; we can highlight the work of the American animation film producer Walt Disney with his theme parks and cruises and other tourist activities; in the beginning he was a pioneer and currently he has a "business empire" that dedicates a large part of its activity to these tourist activities. Since Walt was an American citizen, he found himself in a "new" country and had to come up with all this about theme parks, etc., in a kind of vision that became reality and became the main manifestation of these characteristics in its category. Good.
On the other hand, we have the task of another American director/producer, Francis Ford Coppola, who has combined cinema with wine by establishing his vineyards in California and dedicating himself to producing this wine in quantity and quality. In this case too, it is the first and most important manifestation of the mixture of cinema with wine.
And well, with all this in mind, the film producer who writes this is faced with two facts when developing his artistic work: his family has a tourist activity focused on the rural house "Lagar el Altozano" in Extremadura and also, in a sort of circular economy, that same area has agricultural activity, mainly traditional olive cultivation, which will be marketed from now on through the Frauta brand (both extra virgin olive oil and wine).
Of course, given this situation, and the fact that Spain is not a new country and there is no need to "invent" any theme parks because we already have castles, fortresses, cities, towns and incredible legends and stories that have been "distilled" for centuries, the approach cannot be the same as that discussed above for the two American producers mentioned. So, putting everything into a kind of "idea blender", it turns out that all this family farming and tourism activity has inspired Pedro's next animated feature film, The meaning of life!
It will be a film that will go deeper into trying, in addition to offering a beautiful cinematic piece, to help people find, from Pedro's point of view, that "meaning of life" that we so long for for ourselves, something very similar - or equal - to that beautiful Japanese concept, the "ikigai" or "reason for living". Pedro declares that some time ago he found in cinema and any of its manifestations the main reason to continue living, in his case. In the film, two orphaned brothers, with the help of their grandfather, will restore a ruined winery that they own near the village, and through this vital "journey" they will each find their so-called "meaning of life."
The film will be available in full in a couple of years, as Pedro will be releasing it for free in fragments. The first bit is already available on his corresponding website.
