Great expectations for Francis Ford Coppola's new film, Megalopolis

Since the release of the news that Francis Ford Coppola's new film, Megalopolis, is going to compete in the official section of the Cannes festival, a special buzz resonates through the halls of the most film-loving corners of the world.
The film, titled Megalopolis, as we have mentioned, and whose plot is about a dystopia located in the city of New York (about the reconstruction of said city after a fatal event that leaves it semi-destroyed), has not left anyone indifferent about the face of the earth, knowing that not even the majority of the population has seen it, and it has generated great expectation among the general audience.
This film fulfills the tradition of its director's successful movies, that is, a kind of halo of various difficulties both when it comes to finding financing (it is said that the budget is around 120 million dollars), and when it comes to distribute it, since none of the majors have taken charge of the project, perhaps moving away a little from the current commercial scheme and being a film, despite the fact that it is a high-budget one, too auteur, too personal.
Everything discussed in the previous paragraph makes us think that we are undoubtedly facing a possible awesome movie, which is already positioning itself as a candidate for best film of 2024, without even having been screened anywhere yet.
So from here, with a tremendous desire to see it now, we wish the best to the film's crew and that the result is as good as the expectation it has been able to generate, we repeat without having shown the film yet.
