The four treatises on love every aspiring film director should know

Today we are going to briefly review the four treatises on love that every aspiring writer, lyricist or film director should know and master. They are texts that have been distilled over the centuries, as we will see.
And to do so, all that remains is to begin listing them. The first of them is the very famous treatise "Ars amatoria" (Art of love) by Ovid, (yes, the author of the Metamorphoses). On this occasion, the writer dares to write an essay, leaving literary poetry aside, and once again succeeds in his category. Published around the year 2 BC and 2 AD.
We continue along the course of the History of our small world and around the 2nd century AD we make a new stop along the way to review the famous Kama Sutra, by the wise Vatsiaiana; Another new treatise on love, in this case from the Hindu perspective, which once again gets it right in its description of love. We have already said several times that it is necessary to read it in its entirety, let us not just look at the illustrations (the famous "postures")! Anyway.
Let us skip a few centuries later and stop the moviola in the 11th century, we look at Al-Andalus, and we focus on "The Ring of the Dove", that brilliant treatise on love and its manifestations written by the philosopher Ibn Hazm of Cordoba.
And to finish, "last but not least", in the 20th century the thinker Erich Fromm wrote "The Art of Loving", whose title unfortunately almost coincides with the first on our list and which, although it fails in the originality of the title perhaps a little, is also worthy of being included in this compendium.
