Talavera and Puente pottery is successfully revitalized after obtaining UNESCO World Heritage listing

Thus, the region is energized with a multitude of very interesting proposals, all related to ceramics, with what else? Below we enumerate in a not intended to be conclusive list some proposals that are currently being featured:
In Talavera de la Reina, we mention the "Centro Cerámico Talavera" workshop, currently operating, which gives a modern twist to the whole matter with its proposals.
On the other hand, in Puente del Arzobispo, "Cerámica Santa Catalina" picks up the baton left by Pedro de la Cal back in the 20th century and a trail of predecessors and sets out to take on the essence of this Puente ceramics, with a clear dominance of classical motifs, but also the use of more burgundy and blue tones as opposed to the standard green.
We also mention "Ceramical", another proposal located in Puente that is currently launching very good ceramic collections.
And finally, we cannot leave aside some of the collections from "Eugenia & Sushita", the homeware store headed by Eugenia Martínez de Irujo and Sushita, as its name indicates, which is using the centuries-old technique of Talavera and Puente ceramics for some of its collections.
In short, some time has passed since the publication of the animated short Fabulillas by the author (in 2017), and we think it is a great success that the region is becoming more dynamic with all this good offer, which is of course welcome and which appears in the eyes of this publication without a doubt as the way forward. Congratulations!
