Faro Santander, the Santander Foundation's renovated space for art and culture, has opened

The opening coincides with the launch of several temporary exhibitions, three of which are particularly noteworthy: "Masterpieces from the Banco Santander Collection"—featuring Joaquín Sorolla's "Dance at the Café Novedades in Seville (1914)", pictured here, alongside many other works, including an exceptional piece by the Flemish master Rubens.
Other highlights include "Modern Mexico in the Gelman Santander Collection" and "Symptomatic Surrealism: Leonora Carrington."
The space was renovated by the British architect and Pritzker Architecture Prize winner David Chipperfield and is located in the Pereda building, the bank's former headquarters in the city.
It is undoubtedly a wonderful opportunity to stroll through the city of Santander and enjoy this new art venue championed by Banco Santander.
