Spirited Away
2001 Japanese animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli, whose original title is "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi." A 12-year-old girl, Chihiro, is involved in a fantastic journey that will take her to work in a thermal bath for gods ruled by a witch.

Winner of an Oscar and a complete blockbuster in Japan, its country of origin, this masterpiece by the master Miyazaki will not leave anyone indifferent, and will help all those girls and boys who suddenly have to pass into adulthood, to overcome their fears and to face reality, in this case imaginary. But, like any good masterpiece, the readings that can be gleaned from the film are endless. The soundtrack, also outstanding, is signed by Joe Hisaishi, a regular contributor to the director of the film.
