Bryan Singer to start shooting Superman

Warner Bros. announced yesterday that the new awaited Superman film is in the process of being produced. Principal photography has started in Sydney, Australia, and the shooting is scheduled for August 2005.

The production will take place around Sydney and Australia, and it will be starred by Brandon Routh. Bryan Singer, the director, is a very well known comic-movie director, and has directed, among other films, X Men and X Men 2. The film will also feature other known actors and actresses like Eva Marie Saint, Parker Posey (Blade: Trinity) and Kevin Spacey.

Superman Returns is a world wide awaited movie that will continue drawing the story of the most successful comic-book character of all times and, according to Warner schedules, is set to be released on June, 30, 2006
